Dr. Craig Hoover is an exemplary Cardiologist. He never makes me feel rushed, despite my myriad of questions, and he patiently answers them, even when he has been asked the same questions multiple times. He also assists my learning by using drawings of the heart, demonstrating what he is explaining about its structure and function. He has shown me actual echo results as they appear on the screen, and he shows me the actual EKG strip and explains what they mean. I can see why he is a faculty member for the UofA. He is an excellent teacher. He is also a kind, patient, and compassionate human being. My last two Cardiologists were also remarkable and exemplary, but Dr. Hoover impresses me beyond measure. He listens, he explains, he teaches, he empathizes. In a word, SUPERB.
