Care Philosophy
As a patient-centered physician and leader in integrative medicine, I believe that healing is not just about treating symptoms but about nurturing the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. My approach to care is guided by compassion, empathy, a deep respect for everyone’s unique experiences and needs, and the innate drive for health in the human body. I am committed to partnering with patients to co-create personalized plans that honor their values, goals, and lifestyles and to using evidence-based integrative therapies to address the root causes of illness.

I enjoy great food and great company in my free time – mostly with my family! I like to explore the healing properties of medicinal plants, practice yoga and Capoeira, and hike in Arizona's stunning natural landscapes. These activities bring me joy and remind me of our world's interconnectedness and the power of nature to inspire and heal us. When I'm not at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, you might find me leading a community garden initiative or simply spending time with loved ones, recognizing that healing is often found in the simple things.
