Care Philosophy

I really enjoy my job as an orthopedic surgeon. I do my best to treat my patients as I would want my family and friends to be treated. I enjoy educating patients on their diagnosis and treatment. It is fun for me to be able to help patients understand their orthopedic injuries and treatment options. I consider the patient and myself to be a team working toward a solution to their orthopedic problem.

Specializing In

I completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. I enjoy treating patients with complex shoulder and knee pathology, including total shoulder replacement, reverse total shoulder replacement, revision shoulder replacement surgery, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability, and knee meniscus, tendon, and ligament injuries.

Interests & Activities

I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors in the Tucson sun (more so in the winter months when it is cool)! We like to hike and go to UofA athletic events. I also like to participate in coaching my kids’ youth sports teams.
