Dr, Shelanski is a very good oncologist, He not only explained my treatment plan but showed me the web site on the data [ case studies ] that he uses that has hundreds if not thousands of men just like myself that were treated and why this matters. He also has many years of personal experience in his chosen field. Also he is a very nice fellow.

Dr. Shelanski carefully drove the process through several successive treatments, each more high-impact than the last, until surgery, which finished off the cancer. In addition to being an oncologist, he's a hematologist, which I think helped him analyze the many blood draws along the way to guide the choice of treatments. Throughout the process, he solicited my inputs, kept me informed about the different treatments and made me feel like a member of the team.
