Care Philosophy
My patient care philosophy is to provide the best diagnostic and treatment options based on rational, data-driven and evidence-based endocrinology care. Clinical medicine can be overwhelming for some patients. I try to help patients by translating and distilling complex medical language and concepts into clear diagnostic plans and treatment options. I hope this will empower patients to fully understand and make the best decisions for their health.

I have been a practicing endocrinologist for more than 15 years. I have broad experience in endocrinology and metabolism. My clinical areas of expertise include thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary diseases, and I also have interests in multi-organ endocrinology disorders such as endocrine tumors.
Interests & Activities
I am a physician-scientist and run a research lab studying diabetes and metabolism with a focus on pancreatic islets. Outside of work I enjoy travel, reading, watching sports and movies, and time with my family.
