Care Philosophy
I chose Podiatry Foot and Ankle Surgery, because there is a growing need for our profession to treat foot problems as the aging population increases, and because of the experiences I had working with some diabetic patients. My unique approach to patient care is that I treat my patients, not just their symptoms. Some key factors that make for a successful patient-doctor relationship are empathy, making them feel comfortable and gaining trust by truly listening to their foot problems. Clear communication and understanding between me and my patients result in accomplishing the purpose of their visit. At the end of the day, I would love my patients to say that I was an excellent listener and that I tried to help them to the best of my abilities.
