Care Philosophy

Traumatic injuries never occur during convenient times. Whether missing work, time with our family & friends or other life events coming to a halt these injuries can take a toll on our world. Therefore, my number one goal and reason for becoming an orthopedic surgeon is to return people to the activities and moments they enjoy. Whether that is with surgery or non-operative care, my goal is to maximize every patient’s function to the greatest level possible.

Specializing In

My focus is mainly in orthopedic traumatology with joint reconstruction as well. I take care of a wide range of injuries from upper extremity, lower extremity, and pelvic fractures in children and adults. Whether someone’s injury needs to be fixed with plates, screws, and/or rods or requires a joint replacement I believe in providing the best option no matter what is needed. Also, if bones don’t heal correctly (malunions and nonunions) I enjoy working with patients to correct these issues to restore their best function.

Interests & Activities

While I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son in the outdoors enjoying new restaurants, exploring new places in Tucson and abroad, and playing sports.
