Dr. Zaher is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with expertise in skull base, neurotrauma, and cerebrovascular neurosurgery. His clinical practice focuses on the treatment of complex brain and spinal tumors, traumatic brain and spinal injuries, and minimally invasive cranial procedures, including keyhole and endoscopic surgery. He manages a wide range of cerebrovascular conditions, with a particular interest in microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia and hemifacial spasm, as well as cranial surgery for treating aneurysms and vascular malformations.
He currently practices at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix, where he is committed to delivering advanced, patient-centered neurosurgical care.

I've only met Dr. Zaher once. I found him to be very pleasant and easy to talk to. He was thorough in having read my prior history, asking questions, performing a little neurological exam, and then reviewing/explaining the MRI results with me. Based on his concerns, he explained the next steps in my care and I agreed. I've already received an appt for my follow-up care at MD Anderson. I liked him very much and have confidence in his management of my care.

Dr. Zaher was the only one who really stepped up in this extended ( 2.5 month) process. He went above and beyond to get our surgical procedure done in a timely manner. His communication and compassion we what impressed me most. He genuinely cares about his patients and aims to explain the process and reassure you. He did the surgery on my stepfather whom he met in person. I was there via FaceTime ( I am his POA), so I can't speak to the office staff, but Dr.Zaher was amazing
