Care Philosophy
I have come from many backgrounds in medicine, what started as an EMT, volunteering nights on an ambulance learning what I could. What I found was that I enjoyed the total huma connection I was able to make with people as I worked through my career. Not only caring for the body but caring for the mind, the spirit and knowledge. After 10 years of emergency room nursing what I found I lacked was an ongoing relationship with my patients, which is how I came to be a family medicine nurse practitioner. I will always strive to take the time to engage with every aspect of my patients to gleam attention to body, mind, spirit and knowledge. Most of all I want to and will remain to be as approachable as possible.
