Dr. Moynihan is a take charge doctor who covers necessary care very quickly. His time is extremely limited so as a patient you need to be extremely organized and succinct in expressing your needs, questions, etc. When I needed help with issues he responded quickly and was prepared to communicate with other Banner physicians to move care matters along and see that I got to the right specialists. He knows how to serve as leader of my care team at Banner which is what I want as a patient.

I searched long and hard for a PCP who actually listened to me. Finally I found Dr Moynahan. We have a good rapport and we communicate often through the portal. He even called me to discuss blood pressure issues after I was discharged from the hospital post-surgery. When was the last time your PCP actually called YOU!? So yeah, he's a great doc and shows actual concern and empathy and even though I am probably 40 years his senior, he treats me more than just another geriatric grumpy old man patient. We actually have conversations. That is not my experience with the majority of providers.
