Care Philosophy
I aim to provide care that is personalized and tailored to the individual goals of my patients and their families as we are partners in this journey. I am also very enthusiastic about comprehensive and effective patient education. That allows me to present my patients with the best tools to understand and navigate their chronic illnesses and healthcare system in general. This is one of the reasons I am trained as a bilingual provider for Spanish language.
Specializing In
pediatric allergy and immunology, food and environmental allergies, hives, eczema, anaphylaxis, asthma, immune disorders/deficiencies. I see patients from birth to 18 years of age.
Interests & Activities
My professional interests include pediatric clinical immunology: primary and acquired immunodeficiencies, autoinflammatory disorders, as well as pediatric allergic disorders, especially food allergies, asthma, and eczema. I am also very intrigued by microbial and metabolic factors that contribute to and modify these allergic and immune conditions, and this is what my research is dedicated to.
A few of my personal interests include healthy and easy/fast cooking, anything dog related: I love my dogs and enjoy spending time with them... I am also a budding skiing enthusiast.
