Care Philosophy

I believe it is important to establish a partnership with my patient to provide them with the best care possible.
I emphasize to my patients that their help is needed for me to optimize my care for them. I want everyone I care for to feel empowered in the care they receive and to know they have a voice in the delivery of that care.
I also believe it is important that patients have all their questions answered and to have all their concerns addressed.

Interests & Activities

I love to read. I am constantly trying to learn about new things. I think its very important to have varied interests and at least a passing knowledge of things I encounter in my clinical practice and is of importance to my family and the community. Being “well rounded” is not only fun but it helps me relate better to my patients, peers and the loved ones.
I am fascinated by and love people. My profession allows me to meet people from all walks of life and all backgrounds.
I enjoy the outdoors. Living in a rural community in Nevada provides an opportunity to explore nature and experience some excellent stargazing.
I enjoy shooting sports. I’m not a hunter but I do enjoy going to the shooting range.
I also enjoy learning the piano and have played the guitar on occasion.

Dr. Z is very good at addressing any and all questions or concerns you may have. He not only addresses his patient but makes sure their partner doesn't have any questions or concerns either. He is funny and very knowledgeable in his study. He is by far my favorite Dr. I have seen this pregnancy.
