James Romano, MD

In Palliative Medicine we focus on providing a holistic supportive care model for our patients and their families. I believe the foundation for providing excellent care begins with being fully present for our patients and creating the space for them to be able to comfortably share their concerns and their values. We can then work together to tailor an individualized treatment plan to best support their specific goals and medical care needs.

I enjoy spending time with my family (3 kids and our dog) including hiking in the mountains, playing sports (basketball and soccer), video games, and listening to a variety of music on our record player (rock, jazz, blues, folk, and blue grass). I also enjoy creative activities including painting, sewing/quilting, and photography.
