My previous doctor, of over 10 years, was relocating to another state. I valued that relationship and knowing it was not going to be easy to find a replacement, I got busy doing my research before I scheduled the appointment with Dr. Elizalde. Out of the many doctors I researched, Dr. Elizalde stood out as the doctor I felt I would like to meet with. I came away from the appointment feeling well satisfied that I had made a wise choice. We discussed my expectations and my medical history. She listened closely to my concerns and expectations. Also, this is my first experience with having a woman doctor, as well as a gerontologist and I look forward to that change. I feel confident that Dr. Elizalde and I will have a good doctor/patient relationship, and I look forward to the journey.
