Care Philosophy

Every patient’s disease is unique, and my responsibility is to define the role surgery plays in achieving the best outcome. My AATS Robotic Thoracic Surgery Fellowship training allows me to offer advanced, minimally invasive robotic approaches tailored to each patient. Ultimately, my goal is to provide every patient with the highest likelihood of cure with the highest quality of life.

Specializing In

Open and Minimally invasive (robotic, endoscopic, laparoscopic, VATS/thoracoscopic) surgical approaches for the management of benign and malignant surgical diseases of the chest/foregut. Additional procedural expertise with Robotic Bronchoscopy, EBUS and Mediastinoscopy for Mediastinal Lymphadenopathy/Cancer Staging

Disease managed include the following:

Chest wall – tumors, masses, slipped rib syndrome, hernias

Esophagus - Esophageal Cancer, GERD/Reflux, Hiatal/Paraesophageal Hernias, Motility Disorders/Achalasia, Esophageal Diverticula

Lung - Lung Cancer, Lung Nodules/Masses, Lung Biopsy for ILD, Spontaneous Pneumothorax

Mediastinum - Mediastinal Masses, Thymoma, Surgical Treatment of Myasthenia Gravis,

Pleura - Pleural effusions, Empyema, Mesothelioma

Diaphragm - Congenital and Traumatic Hernias, Diaphragm Paralysis, tumors and masses

Other - Hyperhidrosis
