It's hard to find a doctor that knows about running injuries. Several years ago, I visited a different sports medicine doctor for a running injury who never did any kind of exam, did not order any tests and told me to keep running, which turned out to be bad advice. Dr. Bowen did a thorough exam, ordered same day X-rays and a next day MRI, found the problem (PCL strain) and recommended physical therapy. I really appreciated his professionalism.
