Care Philosophy
I love taking care of cancer patients; each patient presents with unique and challenging problems. My responsibility as a physician is to make sure I have provided my patients with the best treatment options about their cancer or tumor and to help them make the difficult decisions that may affect their lives. When approaching a patient, my philosophy is to treat him or her as if they were a family member with empathy, compassion and expertise. My goal is always to cure the disease, but when faced with an incurable problem, I am prepared to shift my focus to relieving suffering.

He was patient, knowledgeable, caring and made sure I understood what the diagnosis was, what treatment would be involved, and described the process with next steps. Dr. Stea îs experienced, brilliant, and very willing to answer my numerous questions. We had a lengthy and high quality discussion about my condition and he supported all of his input with medical journal articles. His vast experience in radiation oncology specifically related to lymphoma was very apparent in my appointment. His bedside manner is unsurpassed which allowed me to feel very comfortable in his care. I didn't feel rushed and he made himself available to answer any questions that might arise in the future, and he responded immediately to these as well. I too am a medical doctor and have utmost respect for Dr. Stia.
