My approach to care centers on partnering with patients and their care partners to prevent and manage some of the most challenging aspects of aging with a particular focus on one’s: Mind, Mobility, Medications, and what Matters Most. I have a research interest in understanding why some older adults may experience and preventing complications, declining strength, and memory problems during and following a hospital stay. My research interests and approach to care always have the older adult at the center with the goal of promoting healthy aging and age friendly healthcare.
