Care Philosophy
I am passionate about helping patients navigate complex, often unclear symptoms—this can be particularly true for autoimmune diseases of the nervous system, where symptoms can be subtle yet progressive, and diagnosis is often delayed. Through shared decision-making, education, and a compassionate, evidence-based approach, I work collaboratively with my patients to restore function, independence, and dignity.
Specializing In
I specialize in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases of both the central nervous system (brain and spine) and peripheral nervous system (nerves and neuromuscular junction).
Central NS:
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD)
• Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody-associated Disease (MOGAD)
• Autoimmune encephalitis
• Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM)
• Paraneoplastic syndromes of the central and peripheral nervous system
• Neurosarcoidosis
Peripheral NS:
• Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP)
• Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS)
• Myasthenia Gravis
• Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome (LEMS)
• Multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN)
• Immune mediated neuropathies
Procedures include electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS) and neuromuscular ultrasound.
Interests & Activities
I enjoy volunteering, food (mainly eating it), doing my nails, trying different types of exercise and spending time with friends and family.
