About Stephanie Briney and Banner Safety Practices
Care Philosophy
I approach patient care as just one part of a larger team, with the patient being an integral member of the team as well. I believe patient outcomes are best when care is co-led by the patient and the primary care provider and that every other member of the team (MAs, RNs, allied health professionals, etc) is just as important. My job is to support patients in making the best decisions for their health by providing them with education, empowerment and resources to help them reach their goals.
Interests & Activities
I’m very much a homebody; I love working in the garden and reading books on my own or with my kids. I also enjoy pottery, quilting, and am trying to love knitting. Although not technically ‘spare time’, I also enjoy working in academic medicine and helping to train future physicians.

Dr. Briney was excellent - thorough, compassionate, professional, and efficient. She took the time to answer my questions and ask follow-up questions of her own to ensure she understood my needs. She made me feel comfortable during the exam, explained what she was doing and why. She recapped our visit at the end to ensure we'd covered everything and I understood the plan moving forward. I will absolutely be seeing her again!
