Care Philosophy

As a physician, my first duty is to ensure that every decision is made with the utmost care and responsibility for the well-being of my patients. I believe in a patient-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based care. A key aspect of my philosophy is empowering patients through education, helping them understand their health and treatment options so they can make informed decisions. By fostering open communication and trust, I aim to support my patients and their families in their healthcare journey, providing compassionate care that respects their dignity and enhances their quality of life.

Interests & Activities

My professional interests lie in advancing clinical care and research in neurodegenerative diseases, with a particular focus on Alzheimer's disease and Lewy body dementia. I am a member of the American Academy of Neurology, I am deeply involved in multidisciplinary research and clinical trials aimed at improving diagnostic accuracy and treatment strategies for these conditions. I also direct the Behavioral Neurology Fellowship, where I am deeply committed to training the next generation of physicians, in addition to leading the Neuroscience Scholars Program. I am passionate about education and regularly speak on dementia-related topics to other healthcare professionals and the community.
