Care Philosophy
Cancer is scary and complicated. As an Onco-hospitalist, diagnosis is utmost—but I see communication and teaching as my primary responsibilities. Sure, proper diagnosis and treatment are paramount, but I pride myself on explaining complex diseases and treatment options in simple understandable terms. Of course, I love it when patients do well, but leaving the hospital well prepared for the next outpatient steps is my basic care philosophy.

My wife Beverly and I raise our toddler grandson and in my free time I manage a microbrewery in Casper, Wyoming. I enjoy skiing, scuba, and staying fit. When time, I enjoy community theater and have been in many musicals. My wife and I also participate in ballroom dancing.
