I am a cardiovascular researcher, and my research focus is in the following areas: 1) role of iron in cardiovascular disease, 2) role of metabolism and enzymes involved in glucose phosphorylation in cardiac physiology and immune function, 3) mechanism of how mRNA-binding proteins alter cellular function.
