I am a cardiovascular researcher, and my research focus is in the following areas: 1) role of iron in cardiovascular disease, 2) role of metabolism and enzymes involved in glucose phosphorylation in cardiac physiology and immune function, 3) mechanism of how mRNA-binding proteins alter cellular function.

Dr. Ardehali is a wonderful cardiologist. He took the time to explain things to me so that I understood and made me feel very comfortable with the recommended treatment plan. I am so glad I have him as my cardiologist. I have never had a bad experience with any of the Banner doctors or specialists that I have been to. They have all been so wonderful.
