Care Philosophy
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my approach to care is centered on building a respectful, collaborative, and nonjudgmental relationship with each patient. I believe that mental health care should be individualized, compassionate, and grounded in both evidence-based medicine and a deep understanding of your unique story and needs.
In our work together, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your challenges and goals openly. I combine medication management with therapeutic insight and education, helping you understand your symptoms, treatment options, and progress along the way.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, or sleep concerns, my goal is to empower you with tools for healing, greater self-awareness, and lasting mental wellness. I take a holistic view of care - addressing not just the symptoms, but the person behind them.

Interests & Activities
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy staying active and grounded through hiking, gardening, and spending quality time with my wife and extended family. I'm always up for exploring new places, trying out restaurants I've never been to, and experiencing local concerts or cultural festivals.
Professionally, I have a deep interest in psychiatric medications and emerging therapies. I stay current through continuing education and am always looking for new ways to bring innovative, evidence-based care into my practice. I'm also in the process of learning Spanish to better connect with a wider range of patients in our community and also with my extended family in Mexico.
